This is a bit of an important thing to get out of the way; this site was not made with Wix, Strawpage or Neocities. Which is why it sucks right now. I specifically wanted to buy the goatcel.farm domain because I thought it’d be cool, and everything here is of my own creation, with the in-depth and very much appreciated help of a friend.

I want to make it more like a Neocities/Strawpage site in future, but for now, this is kind of it. It’s boring, I know. I’ll make it continually less and less boring hopefully, although I’m not sure what I want to go for. I’m honestly not huge on the idea of a Y2K or frutiger site, not because I hate either, but they feel a bit contrived at this point. I’m thinking of putting up a background image or something though, just something to make the site nicer, but the foundation is pretty solidly set up now.

For now though, I just want to get a few final adjustments done, namely:

(1) Fixing the socials buttons to add my Bluesky account, and add icons
(2) Figure out how to go about adding background images and YouTube embeds
(3) Fixing the con schedule to make it look nicer

I’m also honestly not sure of the actual value of this site, to be honest. I don’t plan on making it so people can anonymously interact with my blog posts yet, as this is a lot of work. It’s a lot of work making a website with WSL and MobaXTerm on a Google VM instead of having it all nicely wrapped up in a bow with Strawpage, but oh well. The domain name is sick, and that’s what matters. But nonetheless, none of you will be able to interact with me directly here for some time, if ever. The blog itself may just act as a way for me to say random shit without the space confines of Twitter, but that’s probably fine, even if no one sees it. The main bit is still important, since it serves as a nice way to get all of my socials and figure out where I’m going,, con-wise anyway
