I’m not going to write this in the usual blog format because it’s actually a bit scary, I’m just going to write this kind of like a Twitter post.

Shabana Mahmood is fucking RAPING me!!! Maybe. Probably not but she’s raping everyone else from my country.

Like, seriously. There’s going to be an announcement from Mahmood come Thursday announcing a ban on nationals from 4 countries (including Burma lol) from getting student visas, temporarily, albiet indefinitely, so it could be anywhere from a few weeks like the last time Labour did something like this, to a few months, to a few years. Something something apperently leaving a country with a civil war and trying to switch your visa after going to uni makes you an abuser and ungrateful and put on the same list as fucking AFGHANISTAN. Hell, I wouldn’t even say Afghanistan should be on the list. The list shouldn’t even EXIST, Britain is NOT the US, as much as it tries to be now. Mahmood is a stupid fucking cow, man.


Anyway, I’ll probably be saved again. I don’t wish to divulge, but because of some specialties on my end, I may be fine, which is another insane stroke of luck. But I’m afraid of still somehow being cucked by this stupid bitch. Like, this would be the cucking to end all cucking wherein I’d either have to remain in the US and do biochem here, or go to Singapore or something before returning to the UK. Or something else that I cannot post about here for legal reasons. I’m in contact with the uni and everything, but, I dunno lol. Even if I’m probably going to be fine, this fucks over a tonne of other Burmese people who don’t enjoy the same special situation I’m in, so it’s quite fucked. I did see a petition from MiMi Aung regarding this (bless her), but I don’t think it’ll go anywhere. I don’t think the British public cares enough about something like this to be honest, not even Greens of my age bracket. So I can only be grateful that I’ll probably evade this by the skin of my teeth, but everyone else that had the misfortune of being born in Burma in the 2000s, and doesn’t have indefinite leave to remain in the UK or another passport, or is already in posession of a student visa, is fucked. And it’s indefinite. It could be for a few weeks if anyone actually gives a shit or it’s some kind of posturing… or a few months… or up until 2029. If Reform wins, it could be longer, although things like this are never permanent. But god, it’s disgusting really.


I want to actually touch on asylum stuff for a second though; most other Burmese people I’ve met in the UK that weren’t born in the UK are already high on the assimilation scale (again adding to my feeling that the addition of Burma to the list was purely statistic-based instead of Mahmood totally chudding out), but I know some part of the feeling of not wanting migration in people against it is due to non-assimilation from many groups. In the end, most of the people who don’t want any immigration are never going to change, they’re just racist retards who don’t know how population dynamics or human freedom works, and generally need to suck off a strongman to feel like a human being. But there’s some genuine concern really. But you don’t solve it by just not letting anyone in. Of course, less people need to be let in for obvious reasons, but supressing student visas just encourages illegal migration. The better solution, I feel, is to vet asylum requests with heavy scrutiny from people holding student visas, and with people who are already asylees, provide English-language education and adaptation courses (of which I think should be compulsory in many cases, but feel free to say otherwise) as a condition for later stages of settlement, which I believe Labour is already doing, but they’ll probably fuck it up somehow. I could say more about this but, it doesn’t matter, really.


I just don’t get it. It’s been proven to Labour by the Green victory in Gorton and Denton that their lurch to the right is not winning them any favours. And then they do this. This specifically I feel won’t be cared about too much, sadly, but it’s just another addition to the pile of reasons why Labour will not remain in power past 2029. No one could have predicted this really, and this is no one’s fault but Labour, and especially Keir Starmer and Shabana Mahmood, among others. The absolute desparation from these people, and their stupid, frankly quite racist, antics in pursuit of voters who will never back them, is fucking the country big time. Hopefully, there’s a Green solution for this (holy shit that hurts to type), but whatever, time will tell I guess. I just hope this stupid fucking freeze doesn’t last long. I’ll be fine though. Even if this somehow shits on me, which tbh it might. But it might not. I have no idea, tbh.
